daft question on parallel

If you have parallel available on a 2HB guitar, is each HB 'parallel' (eg different to full-on sound) or do you only get a parallel sound when you combine the two pickups together?

With standard wiring it's only the two pickups which are in parallel with each other. Each pickup remains in series.

  • You can wire each HB to be series or parallel, for a different sound as well, so you could then have two HB's in series or parallel plus each pick up in series or parrallel
