    Personally I prefer it in the FX loop as a volume boost for leads. This (to my ear) reduces the mid-hump a bit.

    I think it does, yes. The Source Audio EQ didn't hang around long btw. This most definitely will. Becoming quite the MXR/Dunlop whore at the moment.

  • What didn't you like about the Source EQ? On paper it looks like the ideal small footprint EQ. I sold my MXR Kerry King as it was too big for the spacing and took two PSU slots as it needs 18v.

    I dunno really. Was kinda sterile and lacking vibe. Which is what you want from an EQ I suppose. But it wasn't what I was looking for.
