technically these are mine till someone buys them, and I often build guitars that I will like as a result: the Tabby Special

That one at the back looks fantastic. Actually they all do, but particularly that one.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

My Carvin TL60 is probably my main studio guitar. It is mainly a synth controller but it is a great guitar all round and it gets played almost every day.

Love everything about this telepaul type build, it's pretty much been the one played the most too, I just can't be arsed picking up a heavy guitar these days, this does a great LP or tele tone.

This has had a HB in the neck, at various times, but I can’t find a pic, just now..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Basically a Tele in a fancy suit. Belter of a guitar.

Mine. More Gretsch than Tele and completely lovely.

I recall someone here had a gorgeous red thin line with PAFs and black plastics that was heavily 335-styled and quite brilliant. I’m surprised no one has posted the Jag-Tele as well…

    That's gorgeous, what is it?

    One you built yourself?

Never played a Valentine, but they've been on my radar for a long time. I'm guessing that's a PDN special?

  • My recently traded Suhr Alt T. Probably should have kept it, actually. Fucking *great* guitar.

  • I have one of these which i love, its my most played guitar, pickups have been swapped for a set from a American Telecaster, Saddles have been changed for some brass saddles
These are way cooler than they have any right to be.

I also know that it is, technically, a telecaster, but also it really isn't and I've ALWAYS wanted one so there.

My white Gretsch Corvette with hilotrons is very Tele like. I like it an awful lot.

Now c'mon this thread is getting silly. I'm sure its a lovely guitar, but its double cutaway with pickups, bridge, switchware and scratch guard that look nothing like a Tele.  Regardless of tone, to refer to that as a Tele just seems a bridge too far!  o =) :)
