Good decision.
That is a lot of depreciation to swallow on a guitar you've had for so short a time.
FWIW, I think the D31 spec is a better looking guitar than the Vintage 1.
You might get a better settlement by trading the guitar against the SG you like.

Yup the snidy members here love a good low ball offer or rude message, I had one about my acoustic I was selling, decided to tell me the ad was wrong in a patronising way and that the one small mod I had done (due to a hand disability inhave. And fully reversible) was "rediculous". Horrible person.
