yes well spotted it has a route which  a lot of 60s and 70s teles do. To be fair though a vintage guitar is a vintage guitar and is the real deal everything is original with a perfrct refret in a mint 60s case it's a stunning instrument

And yes the picguard is totally original it had a black routed guard at one point for the mini bucker
