A very nice ‘83 JV Squier ‘57 Strat. 7lbs 11oz. Pickups are original, back plate was missing when I bought it. I’ve upgraded the saddles to a Highwood set and the block to a US Fender steel block, but the original saddles and block are included. Also includes a Fender hard case.

I think the nut slots are getting low on this and it could probably do with replacing. I don't have the time to get it changed myself. Other than that this is a really warm-sounding and resonant Strat, with a lovely-feeling neck. I'll probably regret letting it go eventually!

Looking for £850. edit - £800 £750 £700 FINAL PRICE DROP - £675 SOLD

I'm happy to post this if needed as it has the hard case and I have a proper box from Peach too.

  • Thanks mate! It is a beauty. I think the nut slots might be getting a bit low and I reckon it could do with a new one so I'm going to shave £50 off this to compensate. Someone grab a bargain!

How is this thing still here?

Incredible guitar, my mate bought one and my jaw dropped.

Unfortunately, I'm not ready for a divorce, yet...

    GLWS!

Can someone please enlighten me why these are supposedly so good? Why would I buy this when I could get a USA standard instead? Genuinely curious.

They are genuinely good guitars from a good era plus have become quite collectible. I have one and it feels and sounds like a good old Strat.
