Life laundry time again, so a few bits need to find a new home. First up:

Starfield Altair SJ Custom in see-through cream. Beautiful guitar, made as a sub-brand of Ibanez for a short period in the 90s. Rare collectable guitar, made by fujigen gakki in Japan. Swamp Ash, locking tuners, 25" scale. You can see the grain of the body wood clearly- like a Mary Kaye - it's just not a very good photo, sorry Case in picture not included. £400.

these were / are fabulous guitars, great price for a great guitar.....up there with the Ibanez guitars of that era easily

Thanks - very kind of you to say.

It's a lovely thing, but unfortunately needs must at the moment. Just restrung it, always a mistake before selling as you then need to play it a bit whilst stretching them in and you remember how nice it is to play!

can't believe this is still here...these were every bit as good as premium Ibanez guitars of the day  and at £400 it's a good buy for someone.......no affiliation to the seller btw even though I've chipped in twice now !

I remember playing one at a Music Show years ago and was blown away by the feel and playability....it sang and at the time I really GASsed for one but didn't have the money

I've had a few questions about the neck. In case it's helpful, I've added an old review of Starfields when they first came out. It's not this particular model, but the neck information should still be right (I've got six of them, and only one example - not this one! - has a slightly different feel).
