If I'd done the wiring it would be an extra 4oz (of solder....)

So enjoying following these threads Elliott - thank you for the fly on the wall guitar evolution.

They look so cool - in my eyes, the perfect hybrid of Fender offset, Musicman Albert Lee and Gibson Firebird.

Any chance of Medium Jumbo frets ?

edit - mental block with Alvin/Albert Lee !!!

    Thanks for the kind words!

Yeah a fretwire change is definitely reasonable even on the entry level as it doesn’t change the workload at all.

    :)

    Right!

So I managed to finish up a demo/proto of the affordable model today,

It's essentially spot on apart from the tuner hole distances somehow got lost in translation on my model and they are too far apart for the vintage style ones I use - so on this prototype I popped on some simple 'modern' style - this is what these demo models are for!

I also took the opportunity to test out a darker amber tint as one of my customers @TADodger is interested in a darker tint for his, so thought it would be ideal to show that on this model - I really like it!

Oh and fully built and strung up its 7lb 1oz

I think these photos have convinced me that when the guitar fund fills up one of these is in my future - beautiful design, beautiful colour and beautiful photography
