2016 Gibson Les Paul 60’s Tribute for sale. A real head-turner!

I have removed the paint around the edge to reveal the maple top creating a faux binding. All hardware has been replaced with Faber Aged Nickel hardware: 

Faber Aged Nickel ABR Conversion Studs

Faber Aged Nickel ABR-1 Bridge

Faber Aged Nickel Lightweight Aluminium Tailpiece

Faber Aged Nickel “Faber Deluxe” Tuners

All electrics are original with original Gibson P90’s.

In great condition. Plays great and sounds amazing. The Faber bridge and tailpiece have hugely increased the natural resonance and sustain of this guitar. Comes with Gibson Gig Bag.

Damn. I didn't know I wanted a black Les Paul with p90s until I saw this! Needs amber top hat knobs for me though. Can we get some close ups of the faux binding please? How did you do it? Also, what's the weight?

@monoamine I agree, amber top hats and switch tip would finish it off nicely. I’ll try and get some close ups tomorrow and weigh it also. It’s not heavy as it’s weight relieved.

I used a new Stanley blade fixed into a piece of dowel at 90 degrees and scraped away the paint. It’s quite difficult to keep a clean line as the paint can chip if you apply too much pressure so it’s a feel thing really. I’d done the same to a Les Paul Studio I had a couple of years ago with good results and just think that visually it totally transforms these models for the better.

That looks great.  I agree, the faux binding really does make a huge difference, as do the Faber hardware compared to the stock Gibson stuff.

I’ve got the same guitar, without the upgraded hardware and faux binding, and I love mine… but THAT looks absolutely awesome!
