I wouldn’t class it as big. It’s a decent handful but very comfortable in my opinion.

    From the SVL website:
“Necks are available in various profiles, my slim 63 ‘C ‘shape being my favourite, a soft fifties ‘V’ and a larger feeling ‘Texas Blues’ are both very popular. The 63C is approximately .820 at the first fret with a .070 taper towards the 12th fret, The Texas Blues is .860 with the same .070 taper, this neck also features a slightly asymmetrical contour which fits a players had perfectly.”

I acquired it from the guy who bought it directly from Simon.

  • What does 0.070 taper mean? Ta

  • What does 0.070 taper mean? Ta
I imagine it means that the neck goes from 0.820" at the first fret to 0.890" at the 12th fret (hence a 0.070 taper).

That’s correct, though the size is actually 0.860” to 0.930”.

Will take £2600. That’s £1k off what is essentially an ‘as new’ SVL.
