Is this chorus???

Hi guys, trying to work out what is this I think I'm hearing here (start of the solo 'round 3:11)

Is it a subtle chorus?

I know what chorus does with clean tones but can't find decent demos of chorus used during leads. 

Is this an example or is it a different effect?

I could use a bit of smth like that for some of my cheesy 80s ballads solos. 

(Apparently whatever JP is using here is effective with the ladies too. I don't think it's the MkV as I haven't noticed any special ladies' reaction at the sight or unprocessed sound of mine..)

If that's the chorus sound you want, I've had something very similar using an MXR Microchorus.........

As for the ladies reaction, I've seen women crying at my playing...........

Grab an old MIJ Pearl CH1 off ebay for about £30.  Analogue '80s goodness with a blend knob so you can dial it back if required.
