SOLD - Warmoth (USA) Vintage Spec Strat

Andy_StringsAndy_Strings Frets: 210
edited September 2021 in Guitars £

This originally came from Darcy M and was already well spec’d and put together, John_P beat me to it the first time but I managed to get it from him then added a set of Klusons, Callaham vintage bridge and a full setup

  • Warmoth Vintage Strat Body, specified as one piece alder
  • Warmoth Vintage spec neck, standard thin (about the same as a modern Fender).
  • Indian rosewood board (ordered as extra dark) unfinished back
  • 6150 frets
  • Matching headstock
  • It’s supposed to be 7.5 vintage but on my radius gauges it comes up at just under 9’ - (John also said in his listing that it felt   more like a 9.5” radius)
  • Vintage spec aged tortoiseshell scratch plate
  • Oil City triple blues hand wound pickups
  • CTS Pots etc
  • Callaham Guitars 6 screw vintage trem and saddles(CG) ‘PUSH IN’ trem arm
  • Genuine Kluson Machine heads

It had a setup last week so it’s ready to go.

The guitar looks, plays and sounds great.  I bought it because, A) I love Warmoth quality and B it looked so fabulous - but I should accept that I need chunky necks for my ageing left hand (my right hand is the same age but is less fussy about neck profile).
