An amazing player grade Pre-CBS Mustang, in the best colour  

Has had a few upgrades over its life:
Has had upgraded tuners
Replace neckplate
Original pickups broke a long time ago, replaced with Mojo's Mustang pickups 

"A slightly tweaked version of the classic 60’s Mustang pickups with a slightly overwound bridge pickups.

Handwound with 42awg wire and with non staggered alnico 5 magnets.

RWRP like the originals,

Cloth hookup wires.

Neck 6k and Bridge 6.6k"

Such a killer sounding guitar

Neck straight as an arrow

trem system fully working

stays in tune really well

Ooooozes mojo

Doesn't come with a case unfortunatley, but this this deserves to be either on display or played 24/7

1964 is my birth year so curious to see this, although I'm not looking to buy anything (sorry!).

That’s super cool… is there a serial no on the neck plate or was that replaced? Can’t see one. Great patina on that bad boy!

Nope, Mustangs of this era were just offered in “Red”, “White”, or (like this one) “Blue”. Catchy huh?

How do you date a guitar like this without the serial no that would have been on the neck plate? Is there a body or neck stamp?
