I’ve got pair of old 50’s p90’s on the parts stash and I think they’d sound a lot better actually in something. Anyone got an Gibson R4 or R6 they might be looking to sell?

Thanks mate, I did actually message the seller about this one. The weight is a bit of an issue for me. Apparently its between 7.5-7.75 pounds which is a bit light for me.

I have a 2020 R4 from similar time of year, similar batch I guess. Mine weighs 8lbs 1oz so a few very light ones from around then. Mine is the best R4 I’ve played. Rings like a bell unplugged and sounds huge plugged in.

I have one at a breath under 9lbs, almost as light as a weight relief'd 2005 les paul faded I had, I couldn't imagine a  8lbs one!
