Looking to purchase a guitar in The York area but cannot persuade the seller to ship it to me. Any generous FB members in the area willing to collect and ship to Scotland for me? I can help source box etc and will compensate for fuel and time.

I work for a logistics company just outside Glasgow.  Would you be willing to sit quietly in a wooden crate on the back of one of our refrigerated vehicles for over 4 hours?  If so I'm sure I think I could get you there OK and probably back up here again if I can convince somebody at the Nether Poppleton distribution hub to reload you onto another returning vehicle along with the guitar

ok seller got back to me and turns out it’s now sold just seems he hasn’t ended the reverb listing for some reason. Thanks again for all the offers to help even the wooden crate scenario @BillDL

@mark123 there were plenty offers, got a great response but unfortunately the guitar had already sold. The guy still hasn’t removed the reverb listing tho… here it is

i don't like the look of the heavy swirl marks in the lacquer.  it looks as though somebody was overzealous with the buffing wheel.
