SOLD Danelectro U2 90s reissue

Recently acquired Dano U2 in cream up for sale. I believe it's a Korean 90s reissue but I understand it's quite difficult to try and date these things with a degree of accuracy. I bought it on a bit of a whim earlier this year on eBay and whilst it's a great guitar, it's not getting used and I'm raising cash for some studio monitors.

It's got a few character building chips around the edges but nothing ugly. Structurally and electronically it's sound. The intonation is good but the bridge is showing signs of bowing which is common with these. The pickups are typically low output but they sound great and the hollow construction gives the tone an airy quality which I really like. I don't have a cranked Supro to tell you whether it's got that early Zeppelin thing going on but it sounds great into an overdriven Fender.

I don't have a case for this guitar but the guy I bought it from shipped it in a tatty classical hard case which I'll include to keep it safe in transit.
