New strap for my bass

Many years ago I bought a Stagg guitar strap.  Nicely padded it served me well but the critical ends were starting to show their age and needed Fender rubber washers to keep the strap in place.  A bit risky on a €2K instrument.

Yesterday in Dublin, one of the music shops - Music Minds - had a Stagg strap that looked exactly like my old Stagg.  The new strap is now on my bass and the old strap consigned to the waste bin.  I find that straps are like guitars, the 'right' one always feels more comfortable and the instrument seems more secure on the strap.  A small thing but an important bit......

Indeed. I bought a Mono strap for my first bass and now nothing else will do…
