    That is nice wood... I like a good bit of ash..  When I did an ash body I used ebony dust as a filler/highlighter.. Also from what I remember Rickenbackers are made that way, from the back with a back cap.

    Neck pocket cut out, and everything arranged in place



    If I'm going to chamber from the back, this lump of off cut needs slicing into 4 pieces and then thicknessing ...

    And then it's going to need jointing. 



    After I took that photo, I realised the the wedges weren't all working correctly, so those got rearranged before I put the top clamps  in place.

    Now waiting for the glue to set on the first joint, then I'll do another, and then I'll do another.
