I actually hate the nasty glitter silver of mine .......crass,not cool but the thing plays and sounds so fantastic that I suffer the phoney,silly faux forearm wear too !

Welcome to our small (but tasteful) fretboard club.
I posted a similar ad early last year. Picked up a used Esquire in April. It quickly became my go to guitar and has remained my no1, despite a number of new arrivals since.
I almost agree with @Dominic, but along with it being one of the best guitars I’ve ever picked up (including CS) I actually love the sparkle finish.
I’m currently holding off on the search for a Silver Tele to go with the Esquire, but fear I may soon be giving in to the force.

I like the black sparkle on the esquire Dave.........not so much the silver on the standard tele

Thanks Country Dave, I’ve been lurking for a couple of weeks.

I actually thought my guitar buying days were virtually over (having 30+ guitars, and having bought PRS Silver Sky and a Suhr Standard in 2021), but when I read how light the Brad Paisley Esquire/ Telecaster are, I thought I could maybe go for “one last guitar” and I quite like the finish. I originally thought I liked the Silver one but now I think I like them both. 

I’ve never heard anything by Brad Paisley by the way, even though I play in a Country Rock, Southern Rock, West Coast band :-)

Brads an amazing player. You should check him out. I have the black sparkle esquire. I love the fat chunky neck too

^ You certainly should ............he's phenomenal .He uses a lot of open string cascade type runs which are very left field and arguably a bit too outside but the resolves are always very tight.
He's actually very aggressive in style because he pops a lot of notes with a hybrid finger pull . The guitar will give you his sound if you use a gentle compressor and a Vox style amp.

I've sold to him before - it was a smooth transaction.  He organised the shipping and even sent me a case to ship the guitar in! - but never bought from him.
