TC Mic Mechanic 2 opinions plz

Anyone use a TC mic mechanic 2 vocal pedal
Just acquired 1 and it seems very noisy background
Like a high pitched kind of interference
Is this normal for this effect ?

I had something similar with a TC Harmony Singer - I suspected it was the power supply but when I tried to use batteries to check, it didn't work at all. Are you using batteries?

Noisy with batteries and quality psu

Yes I have one and use it all the time.  It's brilliant and no noise for me.  Maybe it's faulty?

I have one, it’s not noisy at all, I use a cioks DC7 to power it, think it’s at 12volt
