Wanted to get some thoughts on a few potentially new guitars...if you have owned these or know what they are like.
these are all second hand...and most likely the pickups will be changed out for some oil city A8/A4 pickups...
so this is the list so far...
1. BC Rich Classic Series Mockingbird - made in Korea, neck through body
2. Gibson sonex180 deluxe
3. Yamaha SG300
4. Ibanez AR300 Korean not the Japanese ones.
5. LTD EC1000 (non EMG models)
6. Westbury Standard MIJ from the 70s
7. Gibson LP Studio (many options out there)
8. Tokai MIK LP
Cost wise, i want to spend anywhere between £300 and £550...and music, i play doom/stoner metal.
any help would be appreciated.

just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
I'd have the LTD by choice.
I'd suggest trying as many as possible to see if the neck plays how you like, and whether the guitar suits you (IE feels comfortable to play, looks cool etc) and most importantly sounds good.

just imagine...that natural finish mockingbird with your double cream A8 and A4 pickups in it...especially if that mockingbird goes for less than 300
Any of the others would be a much better bet - try for MIJ LP as suggested...
