Thought the BBC Three sound guy should have been shot for the sound quality last night.

 Sounded awful mix wise.

I thought they were extremely tight (although as they are 50% session musicians they should do) the singers ability to run about while singing that well was also extremely impressive.

Haven't watched QOTSA yet, but my Mrs is a massive fan so I expect we will give it a look this evening.

I was nearly crushed at V2003 during QOTSA's set - couldn't breathe and it took all my strength to eventually get up and be carried over the barrier. Never been claustrophobic or anything but I've felt uneasy in crowds ever since.

Great band, though I could take or leave a lot of their output when they're great they're really great.

I couldn't wait to ask my 18 year old daughter how the gig was as she went to Reading. Called her the day after and she told me she was tired so went to lie down in her tent but "could hear" it in the distance. She enjoyed the Arctic Monkeys though.
