SORTED WTB affordable strat

Giving up my search for a Jaguar for now as I can't find the right combo of colours and spec for me.

Am instead looking for a Strat. Have never really had a proper strat.

I have about £300 and want something traditional, 3 single coils. Rosewood or dark fingerboard preferable, but not necessity.

After that, if it's well set up and doesn't have a nasty thick glossy neck, that gets bonus points. No baseball bat necks either, I tend to play with my thumb over the top recently so massive necks aren't really helpful for that.

I'm in North Birmingham, and work in Lichfield/Burton. Being nearby or being able to post would also be useful.

Squiers, cheaper Fenders, Jet, other brands? Show me what you got!
