SOLD - Custom Walnut Telecaster with Piezo and Trem

If ‘fully loaded’ ever applied to a guitar, it’s this one. Recent setup, excellent condition, everything exactly as it should be. Strung with 10’s and a low action (1.3 - 2.2mm) with no choking or buzzing.

BODY
Musikraft Premium (Jim Jamerson) Walnut Telecaster body with rear route and inset neck mounts. Has comfort curves and belly cut.

NECK
Guitar Anatomy Rosewood and roasted flame maple with binding and pearl block inlays.
I went for a Stratocaster 70s large headstock to balance visually against the natural walnut body (tried a Tele’ neck and it looked odd).

BRIDGE
LR Baggs X Bridge - full vintage style trem bridge with a piezo acoustic pickup

PRE-AMP
Fishman Powerchip, an active micro preamp (9v) and ‘Smart Switch’ circuit which splits or mixes the piezo and magnetic pickup sounds. The active side works purely on the piezo leaving the normal pickups unaltered.

TUNERS
Nickel locking Kluson style

PICKUPS
Cats Whiskers - fabulous UK hand-wound pickups, scatter wound with Alnico 5 magnets.
‘72 Classic - Bridge 13.2k, Neck 12.5k (medium output)
Despite a higher resistance, the winding gives them the same output as the 8.8k and 8.4k
Classics but with a more focused bottom end and a little extra in the mid range.
Ideal for trem equiped guitars and a more punchy sound without sacrificing the top end.
** each pickup can be individually split (tapped) with push/pull volume and tone
