Any tips for stuck saddle screw?

What's Hot
I have a screw on my low E saddle that won't budge and it needs raising. Any tips or recommendations?

Got it sitting in a lid of WD40 for the night to see how that goes..

If it's really stuck and penetrating oil doesn't help, remove the saddle and grab the screw from underneath with some pliers - you're best to use them end-on so the serrations in the jaws match the thread grooves if you can, to limit the damage - and wind it out downwards. If either the thread or the Allen socket are too chewed up to re-use, you can replace it.

A bit of heat helps loosen them too. I use the gas hob.

Edit: remove it from the bridge first obvs!

    WD40 is not penetrating oil…

It might well work, but there are better products, like PlusGas.

Spray a bit of PlusGas on but leave for 24 hours then try to loosen it.

try a soldering iron on the saddle, not the screw. it should expand a tiny bit and might be enough to get the screw shifted
