Sorted: Telecaster

I have a hankering for a telecaster. Something Mexican or cheaper Japanese/US. 

I'm a bit fussy, but interested to know what's out there. 

Looking for anything telecastery: traditional teles / thinlines / deluxe / customs. 

Absolutely not sunburst, that's pretty much my only hard rule.

I'm in Burntisland, Fife. Unless you're local it will need postage!

It really is a great Tele and the CS pickups are fantastic. The only reason I’m selling is because I really want a 62 double bound Tele.

Looks like a great guitar and it's on my shortlist. I'm just not sure how I feel about Buttercream... Fickle I know!

Anything else out there?

I've got both a sunburst Player and a butterscotch Classic Vibe but it would appear that neither are of interest 

Do let me know otherwise, though. The Classic Vibe is stunning and I've even got some compensated brass saddles ready to fit that I can throw in.

Sorry, sunburst is the devil's work. 

Butterscotch isn't the same as Buttercream BTW.

I'm really after a Fender rather than a Squier I think. Have you got any pics? I couldn't see a thread.

None I'm afraid - for some stupid reason I didn't take any pics of it - it's currently in the local shop for sale too - it's basically as new with a fresh set of strings and setup, I just never got the chance to play it and I have too many guitars. The pickups are very nice - and with the ashtray bridge, it has that real Tele SPRANG sound. Neck pickup is lovely for blues as well, with a bit of overdrive.

It very much is, but the price is a bit higher than my ideal budget. Hmm.
