Hosco groobar

Is this a new range of Hosco nut files? I'm trying to find a 0.16 file and this is the only one i can seem to find. I'm looking in European online stores only at the mom.

The Groovbar is a guide that is placed on the fretboard against the nut and acts as a depth stop when using a fret file to make or deepen the string slot in the nut.  They come in various thicknesses and in sets like this:

I'm sure the name is Groovbar despite sellers referring to it as Groobar.  If you look carefully at the guides shown in the above page you will see a V blending into the B.

As @BillDL says, they are effectuvely a depth stop to be placed on the fingerboard - I've used feeler gauges the same way.
