Advice needed regarding bulk tape erasers

I'm recording to cassette again and am wondering what the collective wisdom is regarding a bulk eraser to wipe the tapes and save a little wear on the erase heads of my recorders.

Are there any recommended brands\models and is it worth the investment?

I've got an old teac one somewhere in my garage, it's a small but bloody heavy little beast. It's quite scary when running cos of the vibration. It must put out a huge magnetic field.

Yep, I don't use it anymore. I'll see if I can dig it out and get back to you. I'm pretty sure it's either in my garage or tucked away somewhere in my house. It's quite a few years since I've used it.
