FL Studio Prejudice - Any Users?

I've always had a bit of prejudice against FL Studio as a kids DAW that you graduate out of.

Dozens of platinum selling artists would disagree. 

Having a quick go at the trial it actually seems like it fits my brain more easily than Ableton as well as being significantly cheaper.

Any users on here have an opinion?

Annoyingly the demo is unlimited, but it doesn't allow you save so it's hard to build anything up and learn about it properly.

It's only £150 for the producer edition with unlimited upgrades so it might be worth a punt just to play with it.
