WTB: Gibson ES-295 and/or LP-295

Being a bit of a fan of Killing Joke & Roddy Frame/Aztec Camera, I find myself GASsing for a Gibson ES-295 in gold.

Also looking for a Gibson Les Paul LP-295.

Anyone selling one, or know of either of these that may be up for sale?

I had one ( sort of )
After having a friend's one reside with me for a while I tried to hunt one down for myself .Couldn't find.
I did find an Epihone one ........perfect copy in every way with a real Bigsby etc .
I was able to play the two side by side for a month.
The Epi had £80 spent on set-up and fret edge refinement and then a set of Nantucket P90S from Bare Knuckle.
It was a better guitar by the finish.
The Rosewood on the neck wasn't as dark but otherwise identical and played better.
Rare but a much better option if you can find one .

I had a reissue, they are heavier than the originals but still perfectly good.
And a lot cheaper.

I'm not averse to a reissue or an Epiphone, at the right price. Both seem rare though.

I had a nice red reissue and also a 1953 original which I bought from ATB. There was a well-repaired crack in the side and it had had a very good refret, but it had virtually no 'greening' and was in really nice condition. That was a couple of years ago, and it was about £6500, IIRC. It appeared on the forum for sale more recently, at about the same price. There was one for sale for ages at The Guitar Showroom in Uckfield recently - it was a commission sale, and the seller didn't want to go below £7500. It was too much IMO as it was definitely 'player' grade. However, it sold in the end, so what do I know?It was there for months and months though.

I don't think I'd be paying £10,000 for one though, unless it was the rare cherry version, and even then (IMO) the gold version is the iconic one.

In my experience the Epiphones feel cheap and sound nothing like the originals. I know they're a budget option  but the ones I tried felt like toys

Slight thread derail - anyone any experience of how the Epiphone version stands up against the Peerless Gigmaster SC? There's a nice looking one in Richtone at the minute, but then just seen that Epi that @TDubs posted above and I'm not sure which would be better (and better value).
