Not a duff track.
(I’d prefer if the start of Exit wasn’t so unlistenably quiet, though. Turn it up and the rest of the song kills your ears when it kicks in.)
Rubber Soul - The Beatles
Grace and Danger - John Martyn
Alternatively, try:
461 Ocean Boulevard (Eric Clapton & friends)
Aqualung (Jethro Tull)
Let it Bleed (Rolling Stones)
461 is quite possibly the best album ever recorded in the History of the Universe but pretty much the only Clapton album I'd bother with, but I'll happily have quite a few records of the other two acts.
As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb
King Tubby is hardly unknown but is vastly underrated as a producer/artist in my view - he was incredibly innovative and musical......
For the roses
Court & Spark
Hejira as a sub if need be.
Trouble - Psalm 9
Manowar - Hail To England
Today's trio?
Richard Thompson - Strict Tempo!
King Crimson - Discipline
Miles Davis - A Tribute To Jack Johnson
The Jam - Sound Affects
RHCP - Bloodsugarsexmagik
Heather Nova - Oyster
Crowded House - Together Alone
Or alternatively, kind-of cheats because they’re not original studio albums…
The Beatles - 1967-1970
Eagles - Live
Dire Straits - Alchemy
"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski
"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein
Del Amitri - Twisted
Rush - Moving Pictures
There is no 'H' in Aych, you know that don't you? ~ Wife
Turns out there is an H in Haych! ~ Sporky
Bit of trading feedback here.
Andrew Gold - What’s Wrong With This Picture?
The Black Crowes - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
The Nightfly - Donald Fagen
Spilt Milk - Jellyfish
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Doolittle - Pixies
Any lightnin' Hopkins album
1) Coast to Coast, by the majestic, glorious Steve Morse.
2) Tres Caballeros, by none other than the sublime Aristocrats.
3) Sex & Religion, by Sir Steve Vai (VAI -the band- back in the day).
P.S.: have I left out Black Sabbath's Vol. 4 and Sabotage? Oh no...
