WTB Gretsch 6120/6136/6118

Looking for a Gretsch 6120 (bonus for G brand style), anniversary model (bonus for the bamboo yellow!) or 6136 falcon (ideally a 6136t lds), must have bigsby and ideally dynasonics but other pups considered too. 

No Electromatics

£3k budget and some more for anything really special.

You’re too kind Sir! I had an electromatic 135th anni and sold it along with 3 others as part of my great new Gretsch plan. Hoping something comes up!!

@williaaaam thats the one Ive been going back to, think it might be the one I end up going for. Does yours have the V profile neck? The gretsch U neck is ok but always feels a bit dull to me so thats got me excited (ooh er)

Yes it has the V profile which I really like but I do get on with most profiles, I had mine setup with flatwounds and the filtertrons sound amazing. It compliments my other Gretsch's really well too and you can't beat a Stern for build quality.

I need a hollowbody with Dynas. My G6118T is marvellous with flats but I need to try the Dynas.

Ive been eyeing up Country Clubs with dynas, there was a lovely 55 falcon on Reverb too. Lacquer finish so off white… snoozed on that one though. Doh!!

Here is a pic of my falcon with dynas it really suits the large body size, a holy grail guitar for me!

I still think the Stern Anni at ATB is the one to beat. The extra pennies required and whether its worth it is my current internal struggle (first world problems)

I have just posted a thread for my G6120 if of any interest. Courier is possible if you are willing to take all risk (I could take lots of pictures to prove packed well. Have the hard case).
