Intend to have a go at covering something in Tolex!

Any idea what adhesive to use?

I have used evo stik impact solvent free for 2 cabs. Easy to use, not smelly. Both cabs are still well stuck.

Yes it works great and can be heated up to re-activate too!

I don't think I would ever consider going back to using solvent based contact adhesive for cab covering

I've used PVA for most of mine. Slow to dry but you can accelerate it by the use of a hot air gun. None of my cabs are showing any signs of edges lifting and they've been done 15 years or so.
