Guitar & Bass Build PRS McCarty 594

Just finished this at the weekend, bit of a learning curve for a few reasons.

Body and neck are a PRS McCarty 594 kit from Guitar & Bass Build.  Would have helped hugely if they'd remembered to drill the jack socket entry and the bridge earth wire channel, otherwise the kit's extremely well made.  They claim it's chambered to reduce weight but the final result has come in at a hefty 9.5lbs.  Oooft.

Went with water based dyes and Tru-Oil for the finish, PRS 58/15s pickups with coil taps, Kluson locking heads (because life's too short to wind strings) and Gotoh hardware for the bridge/tailpiece.

Just letting it bed in under tension for a week before setting up and finishing the nut.
