For trade, my beautiful (near mint) 2003 Gibson Les Paul 1956 R6 Custom Shop Reissue Certified Braz Board! One of only 147 in the world.

Frets are excellent, extremely dark braz board that almost looks like ebony! Easy playability up the neck, great neck profile. Weight is bang on 9lb. The tags and certificate are all present and the case is in equally good condition. And to top it off it sounds ridiculously good!

Reason for selling? It's become clear to me that this guitar is just too clean and I would prefer something I can use at gigs, even if its something as valuable but already well played.

Only other one I’ve seen for sale recently was in the Far East and priced at £6500 so that’s what I’ve put mine up for but I think that’s pretty high so I think a trade value of £5500 is more realistic.

Trades wise I'm interested in vintage US guitars (Gibson/Fender/Martin), something I can take to gigs without being scared of a ding! Thanks guys & gals!

    Now then..that's gorgeous. THAT is what a proper fretboard looks like.
    I have an R4 with a similarly lovely board but not Brazilian.
