New Smaller Room with some parts sloping ceilings

My new room has a sloping ceiling but only in two places...

How would I treat those sloping areas of the ceiling please?

Finally I'm thinking, if I suspend a duvet like the 3rd picture below, will it help the acoustics while mixing too?

Here's what I posted over at SoS;

What are the dimensions of the room?  From the pics I'm guessing something like 3 x 4m? 2.4m high?

Normally you would want your monitors firing down the length of the room but with the slope and the window that's probably not going to work.  Is it feasible to flip the layout around 180 deg so that your work station is facing the window?  I'm wondering if you could mount some first reflection point absorbers from those sloping bits (you'd have a gap behind), get some absorbers on the back wall behind the listening position.
