This is an all-solid, hand carved archtop made by Dutch Luthier Daniel Slaman.

Daniel Slaman is widely regarded as a master craftsman, who makes Gibsons 'like they used to make them'. Pat Metheny famously uses  guitars made by him

This guitar is from 1999 and it has certainly been used since then! It has passed through a number of owners, has been modified and back again, and bears its fair share of battle scars - from use and from modification 

There's discussion around this particular guitar, I think, over on the Jazz Guitar Forum 

It is nevertheless an absolutely amazing guitar, made from high quality woods (spruce top, maple back and sides, mahogany neck) that have matured wonderfully. It is as light as a feather and is v. easy to play.

Slightly thinner than a typical archtop, but with no discernable loss in amplified tone

More importantly, it is structurally sound and has recently been set up and given a clean bill of health by a pro luthier  

Comes with a high quality Mono padded gig bag

No way on earth am I posting this but am happy to discuss options for meeting in a mutually convenient location. I am based in Manchester but often have cause to be in Bristol or London 

It is hard to know how to price luthier-made guitars and so I am going to suggest £1800 - which is basically trading pedigree and quality against condition.

How lovely. Slaman guitars have got a fabulous reputation. Never seen one or played one, but I was looking at the possibility of a Slaman ES-150 or ES-250 a while ago. The prices were pretty terrifying - I never thought that I'd see a Slaman guitar at a price this this.
