Just had a thought that I prefer the acoustic versions of a few tracks. Any others that are just better acoustic?
Pilot Acoustic was a better album than Pilot, by Mallory Knox
No Matter What, and Forever by Papa Roach and Back From Cali, by Slash ft. myles Kennedy were what came to my mind :)

  • Anything by Yngwie is immensely improved by being unplugged.

Massive LOL. Hadn't originally crossed my mind but is now top of the list.

This. Every time... blows me away how different it is from the album version, and how much better it is as well! It really shows off his voice. He has some quality about his voice here that you don't get to hear in the studio recordings.

    Ace of Spades.

The acoustic version is arguably better than the original. Not bad going considering it's probably the best metal song written.

Hurt, the Sevendust version rather than the NIN/Johnny Cash version.
    Don't throw things at me.

A few of the tracks on Skin and Bones give the originals a run for their money.
