This is a bit unusual.

It's a US model from the mid 1990s.   The original SD neck pickup has been replaced with a BKP MQ90.  Original hard case.

It's been played, so not factory-fresh minty mint, but the pics don't lie, and it's in pretty good condition for any used guitar (ignoring that it's had 25+ years of use).

More info and opinion on the Hamer board here;

As well as the MQ90 and SD bridge HB, there's also an under-saddle piezo for the acoustic sounds.

One switch is the standard 3-way neck/both/bridge selector.
The other switch is  elec/both/piezo selector.

Semi-hollow mahogany body, bound spruce top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.  So, it's pleasantly light without being flyaway.    Not in need of a re-fret anytime soon.

The only possible criticism is that the nut is cut low  - the action is incredibly low, so you can get a bit of fret buzz if your playing style is hard/heavy.

  There's not exactly a lot of eBay/Reverb history of past sales - they seem to stick in the hands of Hamer fans and don't get sold - so I'm guessing on price at £1000.

Not interested in trades - unless you've got a Taylor t5z hanging around.

I don't fancy couriering it, just because of the risk and hassle if it goes AWOL or gets damaged.  I'll happily box it properly though if you're a forum regular and want to take on the risk and arrange your own courier.
Else it's collection from IP22, or a nearby layby or carpark.

    Cheers @Bennyboy-UK .

    You may remember it from our conversation a few years ago.  At that time, I decided to keep it as I realised I'd never find another, and thought that "I'll play this properly some time".  Of course,  I never did.

    It's going to a good home.

    Still got another USA Hamer  (P90 semi) which is going nowhere.

    Would that be the one I stupidly handed over to you in a Tesco car park some years back? Was hoping I might get it back one day.......obviously I wont be

    That’s the one Paul @prudd ;

    Never say never (I always fear the temptation of your FS threads!) but probably best not to hold your breath!
