Want to buy an Electric 12 String..

I'm looking for an Electric 12 string..
I saw an advert a couple of months ago that said Electric 12,,what have you got..??
This is basically the same idea..

I don't have Rickenbacker Money..

I have a Harley Benton 12,it's actually half decent,but I am a big guy,
it looks like a Ukelele on me..
12 Strings seems to wax and Wane in popularity..
I don't see many for sale new at the moment..
There were some nice ones a few years back..

Not too heavy..Hopefully 8lbs or less..
A bit above if it has a top horn,,but in oz not lbs..
I have serious heart problems,,so too heavy is not practical for me..
Playable and not needing too much work hopefully..

I thought there might be a nice selection out there people don't use that much,
so hopefully would like to sell..

I have no transport so it would have to be mailed,,sorry about that..

I have owned one in the past and it ended up getting sold on..
I didn't love it....
But thank you for looking for me..

I always drooled over the original..
If I had enough I would consider it for a minute...
Then probably buy it...lol

I've always fancied the danelectro 12 strings, about £450 I think and look funky.

Italia Rimini 12 is a nice option - Ric 360-esque, with wider fretboard.

I've been tempted by the Revelation 12 strings a few times. They come in at less than £300, IIRC.

I got mine for £279 or £299 in a sale in Sound Control around 2003 I think..
I may be wrong,it was a while ago...

I've been looking at them...They have raised in price a fair bit though..
I am bothered they might be a bit tinny sounding compared to others..
I am tempted though..
The secondhand ones I see are pick up only and too far away to collect..
I have no car...

Batteries in guitars annoy me..lol
I've just got rid of a Sterling Music Man JP150 for a cheap price it bugged me so much..
Plus watching a review I was put off it,,the Dano won just over the Harley Benton I have already....
I'm not able to go and just try a Rimini where I live..

I take away the volume control on a Strat because it gets in my way,,
I ended up with Tendonitis for a long time until it dawned on me what was causing it...
The volume control is too near on the Revelation..

I'm not knowledgeable enough to know that,only to guess..
As you can guess too...
The pickups weren't great..
It would be upper budget level today I guess...

Bought this.....It was partly the colour..oops..

Not too heavy..

I had my eye on an old Burns Club Series one..
When I found out the weight was 10.5 lbs,,I thought no way...

Everything seemed to point  keep pointing to the Dano 12..
The Sunburst was £55 less..
The Aqua just makes me want to surf..
As a song by an Edinburgh band said,,There ain't no Surf in Portobello..
Plus I've never surfed in my Feckin Life..
Nice colour though..
