Bumping this as still on the lookout and looking at a Gibson SG with P90’s, again with a big neck.

    Thanks.

I don’t have one any more, but strongly recommend looking at an older SG Classic if you’re on the lookout - I stupidly sold one which had a great chunky neck on it. One of the few I regret not keeping.

I have a current run Epi Lucille which has a big neck if you're not looking at SGs only.

    Thanks both @MSedg and @rlw

Just keeping my eye out for any older SG Classics and just messaged an online shop to see if they can check the size the size of the Epi Lucille.

Epi Lucille is a rounded C profile, 0.84" at 1st fret and 0.97" at 12th according to Wildwood. Been following this thread as I'll soon be after a guitar of similar specs myself, just not right now.

  • There's a Pelham Blue 2021 SG Special with Seymour Duncan Antiquities up for sale on Facebook near me at a bargain £850 at the minute. Looks lovely, but is heavily reduced price due to a crack around the vol/tone control cavity.

Bump and amended title as it appears im looking for rocking horse shit by looking for an Epiphone Riviera/Sheraton/335/Casino with a big chunky neck.

Widened search to Gibson SG with P90's or a Gibson LP Standard / Trad. Again must have a big neck. Also be aware im a picky bugger.
