Can’t make the London date this time but he was brilliant last time I saw him. He’s apparently had plasma injections in his hands and it’s worked wonders, the arthritis is under control and his playing is back to full strength. Enjoy Hoots.

Most McLaughlin fans aren't on Facebook. Most of Kardashian's followers are fake.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

^ Yes Sir. Saw original Shakti in Glasgow in Apollo theatre early 70's. There was about 12 in the audience :)

Y'all remember the Monkees and Jimi Hendrix tour and the disaster of billing?

Well, the Shakti gig at Glasgow had a cat named.......Kevin Coyne as support. WTF organised that one? :)

I saw the original Shakti too, but at least they were on the same bill as Weather Report and Billy Cobham.

I think I saw Kevin Coyne supporting Richard Thompson once. Whoever it was, his guitar was way out of tune and he had no idea how to sort it out. He asked for help and a guy from the audience came up and tuned it for him.

Shit I dunno whether to go. I'm a big fan and I've never seen him, but I really don't care for the 4th Dimension stuff.

I’d go. He’s knocking on 80, I know he’s well preserved for his age but it might be the last chance you’ll get to see him play. There’s also the chance he’ll play some Mahavishnu material, he has revisited it before on the Live at Ronnie Scott’s album.

Hoots, I saw a Facebook post that says he’s just using a Line 6 HX Stomp now instead of his old rig. You might get lucky and find he’s dropped that nasty wobbly chorus now. ;)

My wife said the same and that I have to go, because she's not hearing me saying I never saw him when he dies. So now I've got a ticket to a show  :)
