    I asked - for about the 10th time - for a Line 6 M9/M13 killer.
Trouble with that is that I'd imagine they look at the G-System as the M13-killer.

    And they'd be utterly wrong.

And they're probably making multiple times the profit selling individual tone print pedals.  I reckon that is why they're not doing it!

Hmmmm, perhaps. But I'm not sure. Essentially their algorithms have not changed in years and years and years. The delays you get in the Flashback are the same delays you get in the G-System, albiet with access to more internal parameters. And they had the G-system, Nova system, Nova Pedals, and the newer Toneprint pedals on the market all at the same time. I don't think it's as simple as "we're making plenty of profit on these pedals, so we don't need to innovate on newer models..."

Also, as I discovered when I was dicking around with my Flashback about a year ago, the USB implementation on the TP pedals is actually MIDI-over-USB - that's how the editor app transmits parameters - so there's already a degree of external control built into every single pedal. They've already built the technology to make a cracking multi-effects unit, they just need to put them all together in one box...

  • I asked for a clean blend control on all their dirt pedals.

    Super useful on bass.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

I gave them my idea of the perfect (and simple) multi-modulation pedal. And also for a pedal that displays the time and is also a footswitch operated stop watch for timing sets (could be incorporated into a tuner as well).

I'm expecting a contract of employment from them any day now
    ;)

Done. Interesting- one word perceptions- I put inferior- as in inferior to what they used to produce.

Stuff like the SCF and 2290

feck, should have suggested a pedal board light that works off a standard 9v. I think that be incorporated into the clock.
