Looks like it could be right up my street, not spotted a price yet, anywhere south of £60 and I'll get one in a heartbeat.

Another entrant in the mini looper wars.

TC Ditto started the craze, now everyone's got one (a new Boss RC1 was just announced this week as well).

The presets on this new EHX do look like a useful addition to the format.

Street price appears to be $135 according to some sources.

Also you can store the loops you make, essentially allowing you to record short backing tracks at home then trigger them live.

or record them live and get a 35mm knob so you can swap between them

or even record a bar of silence, a bar of Am, a bar of Fmaj etc.. then turn that dial ..

I like that it is offering something different. I had an old Boss RC 20 and it had a bunch of loop presets that were permanently stored - I used a few for song writing or backing tracks.

The first time I discovered the presets on the RC20 frightened the life out of me

1) I wasn't expecting it as I hadn't read the manual

2) My head was near the amp as I was bent down fiddling with it

3) It was a lot louder than my playing had been up to that point.

Unless these are priced less than the Ditto, I reallllly don't understand them coming out

Who would buy the boss if you can get the Ditto for less, or EHX with presets?

Stereo looping, I dont know why people care about that but lots do apparantly.

So Ditto is cheap, Boss is stereo, EHX has presets...

Are they only allowed one feature each? haha
