New Midi Add-On for my Pedalboard

A Korg NANOKontrol Studio, powered by and midi messages forwarded through the Mod Dwarf which can act as a USB host.

You can customise all the controls to send CCs using the editor software and have 5 different pages/scenes.

Currently I've just set up controls for the HOG to save me bending down all the time and allow easier manipulation of frozen and gliss sounds.

Midi's great when you've got a handle on it (and it works).

That's right.

It's also sends midi to a Source Audio C4 which only has midi over USB. And can power a keyboard/controller and/or fishman triple play to play synths on the Dwarf and Zoia. Via a hub I can use 4 usb devices at once.

Super useful pedal which is capable of loads of things and interesting sounds.

Only downside is it needs hooking up to a computer to build and edit patches. However the implementation of the controls and foot switches is very clever though so once a patch is built you can control most things on the device itself if you want to.

The Kenton USB Host does the same thing too as a smaller, cheaper option.

Very cool set up, was almost excited to do similar for desktop synth and loopy guitar set up ... Then I saw the price !
