Now the sun is out..Lets talk about Ice Lollies

Ice Lollies are very important to me ........nothing so enjoyable on a summer day .......I sometimes eat about 4 .
Iuse the word 'eat' but that is something I don't do ..........I drink them off the stick with a lot of sucking.
My rant is that most shops /garages/ supermarkets don't have proper Lollies and it really annoys me .
What is all this Ice Cream Lolly stuff and Nonsense ......thick,cloying ,non-refreshing ,gloopy 5th rate Ice cream on a stick pretending to be a Lolly !
I don't want a Mars/Galaxy/Magnum/ Malteser/Marathon etc etc in Ice Cream form .I want a fucking Lolly not a choc Ice.
Like a Zoom ,Lemonade sparkle, FruityBlue ,Orange Maid etc etc 
I do quite like a FAB but that's for watching telly not a hot summer day.
Whatever happened to proper lollies ..............bring them back .

Walls killed off lollies. 

They put fridges in most stores in the 80’s so only their products were available. Then they decided that they didn’t want the consumer to spend 11p on a sparkle. 

So they marketed magnums and other expensive lines to get us to fork out more money.

I am really really bitter and twisted about these big companies as they take space in store then decide what we are going to consume. 

So yeah all the good lollies are gone. My favourite was a Dracula lolly or space 1999. Two great products that will never come back as fridges are full of expensive lines. 

It’s all about making you part with more cash.

"Lolly ice" is a Scouse affectation. The civilised world refers to them correctly as ice lollies, because that's what they're called.

I’ve just got back from France where I came across a lemon and mint Solero with no ice cream in the middle. Really refreshing...
