Ok, now the pop is definitely over!

Lowering my expectations has succeeded beyond my wildest dreams.
The lyrics are so good:
There are people who think, and people who don't
And the people who don't are the ones who have most
There are people who lie, and others who'll cry
And the people who lie are the ones that get by
In the corporate rush to devour the new
We'll be losing our friends who will number but few
Position yourself on another man's cruise
One to share, the other to choose
Ok final track. This one is about being from the 'mountains', and from a place and culture many might consider of no importance, but means everything to the singer
That said, although influence spotting is fun, SFA are so full of imagination it does them a disservice.

I must admit, not sure how the earlier poppier songs stand up these days.... perhaps one of their later albums where they had fully shook off brit pop might have gone down better! I think the final four songs are superb though.
My favourite was "Demons"
Anyway, good choice, thanks @MagicPigDetective !
As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb
One things I could say, maybe................ by the end of the 00's, I had a break up, and the whole super furry world was kind of caught up in it....... I didn't listen to them much for a few years as it brought back memories.......... but I've got over that by now! They've got hell of a catalouge to explore......... then there's Gruff Rhys' solo stuff and Neon Neon
Thanks you sir! I do enjoy doing these. I have missed a few but hopefully we can keep it going
