SOLD: 1965 Gibson NR Firebird I

For sale is my 1965 NR Firebird I in Pelham Blue (refin) - £4500 £4000 ONO

I bought this guitar in 2017, it played great but was rough and had been modified/buggered/refinished quite a few times in its life so after a few years decided it was time to get it restored. It was truly a player's grade piece so had no issue with getting the work done.

I want the buyer to know exactly what they're getting. The only original parts of this guitar are the body/neck and the control cavity shield box. I assume the pickguard, knobs, and truss rod cover are original but cannot say for sure. The rest is all top-drawer replacement stuff.

I had Monty's Guitars wind a special set of pickups for it, replacing the SD Antiquities that it came to me with.

Despite being a restomod(?), it is a mega guitar and the tone is extraordinary.

I'm asking £4000 ONO, comes with a non-original HSC and I'm happy to arrange shipping BUT would prefer collection from the workshop here in Brackley, Northamptonshire - NN13, J11 M40 or J15A M1
