    If you think you can install CS5 on your system then I will dig out my old long term archive disks, may have it on there. I did have it on my Mac mini but an OS upgrade meant no longer worked (too long ago now can't remember).

    Switching to Gimp is painful for those brought up on Photoshop and I found it hard work. However latest versions of Gimp are impressive, reads psd files and layers are better. I don't know the last time you looked at Gimp, if ever but very impressive.

    To give you a bit of context, I’ve just rescued a Mid-2010 27” iMac. It’s in nice condition and seemed a shame to bin it when it just needed a HDD, RAM and some TLC. It’s running High Sierra.

    That's the one with 4 memory slots with two populated? 
    If it is of any use to you, I have a couple of 2GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SODIMMS that you can have for the usual terms (a blood sacrifice or for free)....  ;)

    Thought it was that model. Very fine machines, well worth the effort to keep going.
    I'll put the memory to one side, while I continue the search for CS & serials.
