I'd forgotten just how good this album was.. just rediscovered it on YT.
I think many people forget just how good a balls-out rock band they were hiding under all that glitter and Chini-Chap pop.
Their B sides were always cracking. Who remembers 'Burning' the B side of Hellraiser?


There's some serious playing on Desolation Boulevard.. definitely worth a revisit.

    How have I missed this?! Seriously. I've heard of The Sweet, of course, but I've never actually listened to them really. Good band. Some places a bit too jammy but I approve!!

    Even at my grand old age I was a bit young for them in the 70s. Only know a couple of singles - brilliant singles! I really should check out more stuff.
